Karen
Karen is the lead teacher here at Clover Hill. She has been working as a preschool teacher for over 20 years. She earned her Early Childhood Education degree in 1985 and has touched the lives of countless children throughout the years. She has experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and school aged children. Karen's take on teaching children starts with a gentle and nurturing environment where children know they can feel safe and have fun! Karen enjoys spending time at her home in Townsend, being with family and getting to the beach when she can!

When I first got the idea to start a small preschool I was motivated by my own kids and what I would want for them. I always felt strongly about leaving them in the right environment for their younger years. I believe that kids (and adults) belong in nature as much as possible and society is slowly losing this way of life. We are stationed on wetlands and forest trails which brings endless amounts of wildlife and learning opportunities. I am so excited to be able to open this preschool up with my mom! Before this I worked with infants at next generation children's center and then as a veterinary assistant for 10 years at an animal hospital.
